TÜV NORD Group expands its activities in Finland by acquiring NDT-Vorela Ltd.
TÜV NORD Finland Ltd. has acquired 100% of the shares of NDT-Vorela Ltd on 29.10.2009. The main of services of NDT-Vorela Ltd are Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and qualification of welders in accordance with the pressure equipment directive (97/23/EU). The head quarter of the company locates in the city of Seinäjoki and other offices in Imatra, Koria, Naantali and Oulu. NDT-Vorela Ltd was founded in 1993. It is a laboratory (T-083) accredited by FINAS and a qualification body approved by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (TEM).
TÜV NORD Finland Ltd is a subsidiary of the German TÜV NORD Group. The service portfolio of TÜV NORD Finland Ltd includes pressure vessel inspections, steel material inspections, qualification of welders and welding procedures, certification of quality management systems, product certifications and compliance certification of vehicles. Through the acquisition of NDT-Vorela Ltd the service portfolio of TÜV NORD Finland Ltd is expanded and will be offered from various locations in Finland.
